MANILA, Philippines — Following the suggestions of former beauty queens, Miss Universe Philippines Maxine Medina has decided to acquire the services of Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar to be her interpreter during the coronation night on January 30, 2017 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
“Napagisipan kong sundin ang payo ni Ms. Gloria Diaz, as doing so does not make one less of a beauty queen,” said Medina, quoting former Miss Universe Gloria Diaz. “And who else is better suited for the job than Mr. Martin Andanar.”
With Andanar and Abellla as her interpreters, Maxine is now confident at whatever question the judges will throw at her during the big night.
“Kahit ipaexplain pa sa akin ang theory of relativity o di kaya’y the meaning of life, eh siguradong hindi na tayo mapapahiya,” she added.
According to Maxine, her confidence for the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) is so high that whatever question she gets, her only answer will be “apatnapu’t dalawa“.
