MANILA, Philippines — A mysterious case of gullibility that has struck the Philippines on a day that the country ironically celebrates the 28th anniversary of the Edsa People Power Revolution, coincides with the prophecy of Jesus Ministries founder Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj.
The Indian prophet said in April 2008, that a mysterious illness will spread all over the country when a local news outlet will try to connect another one of his prophecies, one involving flesh-eating disease to two isolated cases in Pangasinan.
“The Lord says there is a place called Philippines. The Lord says it is in the leftmost part of your world. From there a grievous disease will spread all over the country. That will consume the brains of teenagers; all their intellect will begin to decay. It will pierce through the brains. The fear of this disease will spread all over the world, particularly on social media. The Lord said that this gullibility will definitely begin from the Philippines.”
Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj made the prophecy to advise Filipinos that these dangers will come true if residents won’t wise-up and stop believing what they see or hear on TV, radio and the internet.
Aside from the said rare disease, Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj also prophesied about the the annual death of an old actor, the coming-out of another alleged rape victim of Vhong Navarro, and the increasing price of commodities.
The shocking news about the susceptibility of Filipinos brought fear to non-gullible netizens right after “#PrayforPangasinan” trended on Twitter.
“Instead of using this special holiday commemorating what your elders fought for during Martial Law, you cower in fear behind your laptops for a non-existent disease,” said one of people fighting for our freedom against the Cybercrime Law.
“Yan ba ang handog ng Pilipino sa mundo?” asked another, quoting a lyrics from a song made famous during the Edsa Revolution. “Akala ko ba ‘katotohanan, kalayaan, katarungan’, eh bakit parang ‘katangahan at kababawan’ ang nakikita ko?“
Netizens are advised to steer clear away from people who are infected with this fast-spreading disease.
“These are the same people who prayed for Vhong,” said Prophet Sandhu.
